My angels sleep for now
They dream I sing my heart
And when they wake I will be gone
From this world I will depart

I may wish to reach the world
And move each aching soul
But that was not my gift in life
And I accept my chosen roll

Help me Lord, it's in me deep
I want to touch the child I’d been
The one that felt forgotten, sad
Escaped from a time and when

The angel’s ears perk and sing
Whispered prayers reach the clouds
And God who knows all that’s right
Hears me as if I’d sung it loud

I touch the heart of Jesus Christ
When I attempt to reach his sheep
And although my works may not suit men
It’s my soul the Ghost will keep

For every word I say or write
The Holy Ghost has filled my heart
And I, the one who seeks your love
Admits a smaller part

I think of days when I will sing
The words I’ve written down
And follow those who once were me
In shade of purest gown

My dream is fluid yet foreseen
To sing a song and touch a mind
And when I wake I will be gone
For my voice I’ll surely find

My angels sing as I am weeping
My upright God his plan is just
If my words for now are silent
My prayers are spoken trust

I kneel to him each night in song
And pour my need for care
He touches me and wills me on
To write and always share

The world is round and God relates
He knows we all have dreams
Let us not throw down our faith
Because it’s not as it seems

My angels are awoken
They sing I’ve found my voice
And when they do I join in to
There’s much we must rejoice

query: have they really made awoken a word, I even hear it on t.v., even on the news, I thought it was 'awakened' heh heh heh...I just looked it up in the dictionary and it's there...thanks for making me curious enough to look

some great words here. i like the advice at the end about not throwing down our faith, everybody can use it! nice write...blowing me away!
