A is for alyssum
Even in cracks this flower grows
B is for boronia
A smell so heavenly to the nose

A lovely climber for the shade
D is for daisy
In Sring, many chains are made

E is for edelweiss
An alpine flower in the meadow grew
F is for freesia
A bunch of these I'll give to you

G is for gardenia
With waxy flowers and alluring smell
H is for helleborus
It's flower looks just like a bell

I is for impatiens
Many of these I have in pots
J is for jasmine
I love this beautiful creeper lots

K is for kangaroo paw
An Australian native you see
L is for lavender
A plant that's loved by all the bees

M is for magnolia
Such a flower is so grand
N is for nasturtium
That travels freely across the land

O is for orchid
A difficult plant, some may say
P is for pansy
How their quaint faces brighten my day

Q is for Queensland bottle tree
I nearly didn't have one for this
R is for rose
Such a fragrance is surely bliss

S is for snapdragon
With its mouth that opens wide
T is for tulip
A beautiful flower to have inside

U is for umbrella plant
That shields the fairies from the rain
V is for violet
A bunch of these will ease your pain

W is for wisteria
My favourite creeper - I have three
X is for Xeronema
This plant is from New Zealand you see

Y is for yarrow
Like a pincushion are it's blooms
Z is for zygocactus
From a hanging basket this beauty looms

So now you have a picture
Of the many flowers that I own
With the exception of a few
They live here where I call home

I hope you liked this journey
That you viewed through my eyes
And I hope this picture I painted
Left you with many sighs

A beautiful garden it is. How I wish I had your touch. (sigh)

For those who believed in me -
I send my love.

Special flowers to me are the gardenia and the magnolia ...

Gonna send this one to a friend !
She's a 'blooming' poet too !

Marge
This piece is very special to me and my love of gardening.  My favourites are gardenias, wisteria, clematis, impatiens and, of course, roses.  Where would we be without our beautiful gardens? Take care and thanks so much for reading this........Sue
