I’m the salt-water fish
In your fresh water eyes
You compose me a wish
That our love’s a disguise

Drops from the ocean
Run from your stream
One single motion
And you wash me clean

Trailing whipping fish
Beached upon the shore
You’re my pretty trout
I’m the sea you adore

You're the fresh and the clean
I’m the torrential spray
You’re the naiveté
I’m about to give way

You thought that you'd change me
I'm you yet unclean
I stare into your eyes
And you see what I mean

I can drink from your depths
And filled from your eyes
But I can’t nourish you
So I'll make you despise

Treated and poured
In the heat from above
Wash away the salty taste
Of our incomplete love

You won't drown in the sea
Let the earth be your death
For when you long for me
You'll gasp for every breath

So beautiful. The love is felt.

Without the experiance of love where would we be? We would have no memories to cherish.
With love it brings hurt with hurt bittersweet memories.
