When Sarah sings my face takes on a glow
Ignited by the passion her voice brings
Emotions reach their banks and overflow
As I am moved to tears when Sarah sings.

When Sarah sings all worries disappear
My woes become inconsequential things
Discord is not allowed to interfere
With peace I feel inside  when Sarah sings.

When Barbra sings my eyes smile in delight
Celine will make my hands applaud with glee
But even they will disappear from sight
When Sarah sings those sweet love songs to me...

I know there is a Heaven up above...
That  angels do exist with velvet wings
And there is nothing that can conquer love
All this and more I know when Sarah sings.

Ok, so please tell us...which CD to buy? One, all? I know how you feel...there are certain troubadours that I would love to hold...all of their recordings, that is....

Sometimes when Sarah sings? Smiling here...I once cranked it up---and...well on our stereo..UP is pretty loud and then just listened, first kneeling, then sitting, and then finally prone...listening to sarah.

Thanks for reminding me of that Michael!

Songbirds they truly are ... with the voices of angels. Simply a delightful tribute, I enjoy her tremendously too! It's always a joy to read you in different rhyme schemes Michael. Such perfection in your flow and rhythm in this lovely piece. A sweet and lyrical read, very much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit

A beautiful tribute to an incredible voice, Deer one... (Brightman + Bocelli + Con Te Partiro = Heaven! *G*) This reminds me of The Fourth Tenor, which has always been one of my favorites. *S* Double thumbs up! *S*

Ah yes Sir Balladeer…Ms Vaughan is a mainstay on my station’s traditional jazz formats.  You’ve done her justice.  Peace!

So you know of Sarah Brightman
Then you've surely wondered why
The sweetest sounds from heaven
Do so often make us cry

Nice one Mike. . .
