The Missing

Theres a hill above this smokey town
I can climb to be with you
there in the distant heat haze
a glint of oceans blue,
and in that soft day dreaming
its comforting to know
that oceans wide horizon
must also wash your shore,
The sun thats high above me
those gentle warming rays
will be watching over you
on steamy summer days,
The stars that fill the heavens
that twinkle just for you,
are with me every evening
I'm wishing on then too,
The breeze that blows each morning
that lifts you when your down
touches me, in passing
as it travels on its round,
And though time moves so slowly
it never stops, you see
and so my love be sure
that time,
will bring you home to me.

Olias.

Every second that goes by is another minute closer to being home. Thank you for showing your strength and love.

Olias, this is absolutely beautiful, and leaves me with a sense of having seen it through your eyes.  No wonder you are the poet you are....

Olias...the blending of imagery and emotion  in this is superbly conveyed...'
this is lovely,
a sincere and romantic write
very well poet sir.

Her hardest hue to hold." ...
"So dawn goes down to day,
Nothing gold can stay."
