Shhh !  It's A Secret ...

~*Marge Tindal*~

Out behind the shed
when I was just a kid
Mama had a secret spot
she thought that she kept hid

Snoopy little thing I was
I soon found her out
Mama tried to hide it
but I know what it's all about

In the corner garden
where open I found the latch
discovered her the little hiding place
she called the 'cabbage patch'

Found my big brother, Tony
sister Shari too
the row that held little Mike
and sister Lori too

There I was among them
'cute as cute' could be
Mama said the cabbage patch
was where babies would come to be

Now as I return to the garden
I see my own patch of pride
Robert, Tracie, and David
with Steven by their side

I've come back to the garden
to prepare another plot
I hope to see it ripen with grandkids
and pray there are a lot

So if you want to see
where babies really come from
come with me to the cabbage patch
I'll bet you'll find your special one

Thanks to my Mama
for leaving the gate latch open
with all the little secrets
of where grandbabies are - I'm hoping

Marge, this is adorable, to say the least.
I remember telling my parents and inlaws by the way of sending flowers with a note saying "congratulations, you are going to be grandparents". We just forgot to sign it haha.
We each have older siblings so we were the last each set of parents called. We still laugh about it. And my gorgeous daughter is 19. Wow time sure goes much too quickly.
Loved this Marge....

May your dreams always dance to the rhythm of a lover's heartbeat...
