In the silence of the night,
...comes beauty, bright and clear,
No moon, nor trail of comet's blaze,
...with splendor interfere,
Auspicious queen of heaven's grace,
...in daytime's evanesce,
Celestial court in humble bow,
...to sacred incandesce,
All heaven cedes to royal glow,
...enthroned in welkin realm,
As silvered crown, illumes the dark,
...in beauteous overwhelm.
From forth her chambers high above,
...she wakes to dark's arise,
To shine as empress of the night,
...to once again, earth mesmerize.

mesmerize...YES ...your poems do
Mike the poetic phrasing in this is as impressive as the imagery...
which is as impressive as the cadence and vocab.
this is another lovely jewel in your poetic
crown

Her hardest hue to hold." ...
"So dawn goes down to day,
Nothing gold can stay."
