Nothingness, sweet Nothingness,
Come wash over me
Coarse through tired veins
To once again bleed

Nothing lasts forever
But everything has an end
Even if twice removed from it
Can’t escape this downward trend

I feel angry; I feel happy
As I blister, burn, and peel
I feel every opposing emotion
If only I could just not feel

It’s a most impossible desire
To want the warmth of Nothing
Oh how nice in the dark
And the sweet comfort it brings

To freeze all the senses
And lie in Nothing’s embrace
To take no more chances,
And hide in the shadow of my face

Give me a place with no more words
No more feelings, and no more hurt

sighing...my feelings exactly...give me  that road to nothingness and I will take it...

a friend once went parachuting and afterwards, said "I was surrounded by nothing and yet I held onto everything"  this poem reminded me of that.

I really liked this, nothingness for awhile is nice, but I believe you'd miss the something, that made you want for nothing, I know ironic how we are isn't it?

Perhaps the feeling of nothingness is sleep itself. And we do need that nothingness to grow. Many reflections brought on by this great poem.
