nothing much to say
words are
bound by desire
of unspoken memories
silence fills the void
yearning to be joined…

I open my mouth to speak
words do not come
hesitation…
catches in my throat
and chokes off thoughts…

Desire wraps
me in swaddling
insulated against
reality
as silence fills the void

The pain
of loneliness
encompasses me
I am walled
enclosed
isolated
and mummified
in silence

Nothing much to say
Except…

I love you

I thoroughly understand the words here, yet along with the words "I love you" being ever in the forefront, the cold/deaf ear of the would-be hearer is what they would have found.

sometimes no words are needed....
but when a poet cant find the words they need,
or their muse falls silent and we want to write,
it is a lonely and frustrating feeling...
you've captured all that here me dear.
and its so nice to see your name here poetess Keth
we've missed you

you speak to me in riddles
and you speak to me in rhymes
my body aches to breathe your breath
your words keep me alive

As I read it, I felt it... Your poem very powerful indeed, with the right ending.  It says it all. LP

Day in Day out...My love for you grows.
Without you, my life would be empty. So I hold my mustard seed of faith in us.

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it

As long as you write I shall listen, for you say much with your words. Take care!
