But now the price is taken
You lost her again
and the bank of life; hardly tolls that million
so you get better or worse news

all depending on your belief
in tomorrow he hates to say this
and really he does you have known
cajoled fought through Heart and Back

and should have been accident
You think after ten years you really do
love he monogrammed as DR. who fights weepy eyes
Hey Doc is it just another diagnosis you try

and help him through but the reason for the call
"see me right away" it hurts him worse than me
he lays out the options he told me my Grandfather died he knows near everything in my life He

Wasn't ready for this who is peace known as Death
a dear friend who comes to see me live not waiting
nobody knows I will not cannot tell I have the
right to decline any and all treatement of

Let time take time
I think I have said nearly all I had to say
and surely life has escaped me any happiness
I await the final verdict sentencing on it's way

And write the music
all I have seen and felt hoped and dreamed
time to hurry to say to sing but somehow I just
look down knowing tomorrow will come to take its toll

Smile I have abundant warning
perhaps I can redeem a small part of me
perhaps I will taste the sea
Perhaps it is nothing and will die inside me

Perhaps..
