                 “THINGS I’LL NEVER SEE”
                                  by

                                 ~~~~
I’ll never see your piercing eyes, as they gaze into mine,
        and the tenderness of your precious lips,
                as I come closer, to explore…
Your hair blowing in the breeze, I’ve seen it flowing,
        but I won’t see it now,
                like so very many times, before…
I’ll never see your silhouette, outlined in the moonlight,
        when I looked at you,
                standing there, under the stars…
Moonbeams came down, touching with their softness,
        and you were outlined in a halo,
                dancing, to sweet guitars…
I’ll never see your smile, with the gentleness of you,
        as I held you closer,
                and happiness, came from within…
It never stopped, as your lips met the passion, of mine,
        in a kiss that was deep,
                until skin, would meet skin…
Those sensuous moments, with closeness of only you,
        warmth coming from your heart,
                radianting warmly…
To go back in time once more, to the many happy days,
        so that I could look at once again,
                “Things I’ll Never See”…
Sometimes we can't go back, we can only go forward, this is sad.
I can relate, my man! Not recently (not in 30 years or so) but I can still relate and still feel.  Good piece, my friend.
Irish Rose - yes, we can never go back, only forward. But we can look back, and only wish what might have been. Thanks for stopping by.
jwesley - it just never seems to go away, only stays. One forgets but it is still there. Appreciate your kind reply.
nakdthoughts - you are so very gentle and caring with what you say. Thank you, and my eyes will meet yours, perhaps again.
Ethan Halo - thank you very much for your words of encouragement. A lonely trail it is, one that will be taken and overcome.
You'll never walk alone with those around you who love you.
Day in Day out...My love for you grows.
Without you, my life would be empty. So I hold my mustard seed of faith in us.
Sounds like it is worth finding a way you can see it everyday. Hopefully you can find the happiness you and the lady in question deserve. Life is too short to live alone or unhappy. Good luck!
Wow, this is an emotive, longing piece. I like it. It seems that you two will see each other yet again though.
This is so sad and I feel it coming from your heart.  You must have loved her very much and want to see her again just one more time.  Follow your heart.
