She Dances
when he speaks
she smiles
when he's near
she glows
does everyone know?
she loves him
just one whisper
from his lips
one caress
from his poetic
fingertips
& she dances
she sings
she glows,
doesn't everybody know?

Soft and breezy, like the gentle waving of a delicate hand. Lovely work.

Elegantly simple and direct. Wonderful.

R.T.

I tried e-mailing the following message to you and it was not deliverable.  I hate to put it here, but, alas, here it is:

R.T. Thanks for visiting my "Longing" glad you enjoyed a chuckle.

I have to tell you of my aching, two other poems I wrote this week-end
that hold much more meat, are sinking down the board.  I'd love it if
you'd drop down to them and give me your views.

R.T. I thought this was the same untitled that I replied to earlier this week.  It looks familiar, but I don't see any other reply by me to it, save the e-mail that I couldn't get to you.

I really like it, it's powerful and vivid though short.  It's so familiar, is a rewrite of a longer one you posted a day or so ago? Or am I losing it?

Is this overkill, or what?  Something's amiss with this forum at the moment.

Ah, yes...sometimes we think we're so transparent, as if everyone knows what's going on in our hearts!  Wonderful poem, Tier!

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk in the room...

and shouldn't they, tho'?  if they have ever been there...
nice capture of those wonderful feelings, unstated.
