Of Words

Sometimes I see his words of night,
pressing me in feelings strong.

Sometimes his morning thoughts arise me,
even when the dark seems long.

His loving words, attach to me.
They dress my day, in silken touch.

A poet's pen seeps into heart.
I can't escape, I read him much.

Creating moments, one by one
to capture me, in treasures find,

I am absorbed, in tunes of pen
and dance his shadows in my mind.

I've never felt the "all" of him,
but touched I have been, with his "awe".

Each abc, that comes to me
removes a stone from this, my wall.

This he, whom I may write about
or sometimes respond to lovingly,

Is you, or you, or maybe you.
Addicted I, to some degree.

A poet's world surrounds my needs,
sometimes weaves my body's hold,

Keeps together thoughts of mine
from fleeing me in words of bold.

If loving you, is not enough,
if wanting moments spent with you...

If those three words, in want to hear
cannot pass from lips in true...

Then all is lost, in world of love,
an open heart in silence fills.

In sadness, days become the nights,
dark and empty, the words to quill.

~Wynter

Enjoyed the read, very much.  I do think you want "body's" instead of "bodies" near the end there.  I certainly agree with the other responses and I liked the rhythm and flow of this.

nakdthoughts - you know words are a most powerful thing, but words whispered softly into your ear, they you can believe.

Right now 2 song comes to mind.  "I never walk alone." Wonderful poem, she walks with beside him.  The other "unchained melody," So, to BC, hear my 3 unspoken words, now feel them...I love you. I wish I could attach a copy of songs to play as I'm writing this. It says it all. LP

Day in Day out...My love for you grows.
Without you, my life would be empty. So I hold my mustard seed of faith in us.
