You think I might be crazy,
could you be right?
A little bit, maybe
when I’m in your sight.
I’m kinda hazy
on the premise tonight,
like a seaside daisy
closing up for the night.

I can be blasé
or wrapped too tight,
caught up in some cliché
that’s all too trite,
when I can’t convey
thoughts to make it right.
Still, I will portray
this silly invite.

This virtual bouquet,
isn’t small and white,
but a blazing array
of flora bright.
If you can take the disarray,
and perhaps the delight,
if I can sway you to stay,
I’m hoping you might.

To gently pluck your flower
My garden would be filled with wild delight.

I thought when I came in here I'd find something as crazy as the '01 (Aught-One) I recently posted. I was hoping to find someone that was suffering from the same malady as I...you know, misery loves company. What I found was a delightful piece laced with poignancy.
