He Writes ~ Therefore He is

He lives in the dark
A blackened hole.
He waits for the words
To fill his soul.

In his crown of thorns
Shines one bright light.
His true salvation
In the darkness of the night.

A reason to live
A piece of life truly his.
So he waits for words
He writes, therefore he is.

This is my 100th poem at Pipps,
and holds special meaning to me
about a writer I deeply care for.

Yes, and I feel writing should always be used, like a muscle....the more the better, with rest in-between I suppose, but never discarded.

You share your heart, and your compassion.  This could apply to many, but the one for whom you intend it, will be appreciative, indeed.

Well done!

Sorry for being late to thank you all...it was moving day today - two houses to be emptied!

Thank you so much for liking this one, it is a special tribute to someone who led me to a poetry board in the first place or I never would be doing this at all, and I thank him for that. This is my small way of saying my thanks.

And thank you Joyce, Latan Passion, irish Rose, Sven, Sunshine, Martie, Auguste, Julian, KismetKelsey, Poetric KNight, Martha (mwah), Kate, JLR, Fight_aGaiNST-Form, Rosebud 1229, and Eagle One for taking the time to read this as this a special one to me, and I am so very pleased that you liked it.

Green Eyes: Thank you so much for your good wishes (and for also signing my guestbook - that was so special to me).

Melissa Honeybee: I think we can all use that saying, I used to use it for my signature, "I write ~ therefore I am".  Thank you.

This was very loving and touching.  Friendship is precious and you show here in your words what a precious friend you are. I liked the last line too.
