Some men kiss lips
They take their sips
From lips they think
The sweetest drink

Some think more broadly
Find other parts
Like ears and neck
Make kissing darts

Still, when we're loving
We caress
With voices doving
Flesh we're covering

With hands we're guided
Fingertips are glided
Goosebumps raising
As they are grazing

Your hands, softly,
Can raise such heat
My skin just burns
Feeling oh so neat

I must take your hands
And kiss them too
Fingertips - suck in like glue
Cooling me, enflaming you

All the caresses
Lovers find
Are made with hands
Closed eyes are blind

Or tongues and lips
Must come to grips
As often do
Tis the least that you are due

Thus this paean to your hands
Thus enlivened
I'm at your command
Molded easy as grains of sand

Thus I take your hands in mine
Kiss their softness oh so fine
You hear my murmurs
Of your hands divine

The first duty of love is to listen.

I too have written poems about hands....there is a strength in them that surpasses the eye....

You have captured a hand's essence quite well, Mr. Yeats!

Bill,

Give me the smile shining in a woman's eyes and that will be enough.  Good one.

Bill, for your words sends chills across my neck and back.  Such tantilizing visuals.  Though fingertips lightly caressing could set fire to one's soul. LP

Completely loving.  When I think you can not possibly write another love poem, you come up with a new one.  Joyce

Hands are marvelous gifts as you expressed so very well.
