The taxi driver beeps his arrival As a new day begins to dawn The noise, it hardly registers As I'm feeling so forlorn With my suitcase in my hand I open the passenger door As the weather turns so nasty And the rain begins to pour The driver tries to talk to me He has so much to say But my mind is filled with sadness On this dark and dreary day After an hour we reach the airport I pay my fare and close the door As reality finally hits me I won't be seeing your face anymore I thought we'd be together Forever and a day To your charms I once surrendered Now I feel that I can't stay Your heart no longer loves me Does it belong to someone else? How lost and so alone I feel Like I've been left upon the shelf So many happy faces I see Going to destinations unknown While my mind begins to wonder Where will be the next place I'll call home? No love is living here for me It deserted me this day I just wish this was all a dream That you'd come and take me away "Flight QF2 is now boarding At gate number nine" I pick up my suitcase and coat As I stand here silently in line Then a voice I hear, so familiar A voice that I surely knew As I turn around disbelievingly I see that the voice I hear is you You tell me that you love me You tell me, please don't go As you throw your arms around me Should I stay or should I go?
