Still Dancing

I have fumbled, I have faltered
My ways have become obscured;
I have wondered, I have questioned
But I have continued to hear the music;

And I am still dancing, beneath the summer sky.

I have watched hope fall away
I have watched regret flood
I have watched as my heart turned cold
But I have always heard the music;

And I am still dancing, higher than high.

For all my troubles and faults
The clouds, the rain, the burden
For lack of strength in times of need
I have always heard the music;

And I am still dancing, dancing still am I.

This  so beautiful and inspirational.
I am new here and this is the first of your poems that I have read.  I think I will look for more!

And you keep on dancing.  That's the spirit.  Joyce
