Understood In A Shadow

let me
whisper to you
these things
of tangled strings
and angel’s wings

words spoken
without any sound
only to
angels and shadows
found

one last time
to close a door
to shiver
then offer more

inspiring me
to more not less
with words
my soul
caress

and my soul
is not alone
won’t die
understood
in a shadows sigh

"...the rest is silence" (Hamlet)       Shakespeare

I'd love to know about the feelings that went into your writing this.  I enjoyed reading but I felt there is more.

I guess like Irish Rose, I have to say this is lovely music, but I'm not sure about the feelings. Joyce

Perhaps it is the feeling of existing in a world more complex than comprehension bears while still being understood in a space as small as a shadow.  Whatever it is, it is sublime!

Feelings aptly expressed!

Like others of yours I've read, this bears well several readings.

"in a shadows sigh"... excellent last line!  Well done!

I enjoyed and understood, for there are times I feel I'm in the shadow of love.LP
