Tears cried, And I'm awash in a new day. Sunlight pours through an open window, And casually rests its hand on my right leg. I don't flinch or close the blinds, Because a smile lights my face, As I think of being outside, Within the spring wind. Yet my finges are grounded here, Within the solace of words, And yet I know I must venture out, In order to find new words, For new experiences always make the spirit glow. New faces always make maturity uplift a level. And so I sit here, While the sun pours through an open window, Dangerously giddy over its hands, Resting casually on my knee, Like the hands of a once young love, Beckoning me outside to feel the warmth, And to taste the spring coast breeze. Tears cried, And I'm awash in a new day. |

This is just beautiful.....and I contemplate the same..I just walked out..the air is a bit brisk but I intend to soak it and the sun in at any moment..huggzzzz temptress for you have brought the outside in...and the inside headed out... ~Wynter/Maureen * this is a keeper "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |
