Oh, how those eyes do shine,
The brittle hues so divine,
Keeping Angels quite in line.
Yet, weary stranger, none feel sorrow
For those that wait till the morrow.

Save for those who never choose,
A singular glance, a solemn ruse,
For ‘tis but their hearts they bruise—
A forsaken wave of dismissal
At those eyes glimmering of crystal.

And bide, they do, amongst the clover,
Oh, weary stranger, so calm and sober,
For nary a set of eyes shall be nobler—
Least of all, the one below;
The one with eyes where fires glow.

I’ve seen those lakes aflame
In those eyes of the one placing blame
With neither recourse, nor shame;
His heart afoul with hate,
Foreshadowing his lost duel with fate.

Though, weary stranger, show no fear,
For the shine of His eyes makes it clear,
That the front of the line draws soon near;
There you shall discern
The answers you wish to learn.

And see, you shall, before nightfall,
The meaning of your sudden call,
Unless, that is, you wish to fall,
To the depths owned by the other;
The devilish one I still call brother.

But beware, weary stranger,
For you shall find certain danger,
Outside the realm of our humble manger.
Oh, weary stranger, my newfound friend,
You’d most certainly face the very end,

For ‘tis along this slow-moving trail
That you must cast your sail,
Thwarting my brother’s Hell,
By the grace of a smile and nod,
Into the brittle hues of the eyes of God.

STANDING OVATION!!! BRAVO, this is such a wonderful view of wisdom! I loosened myself in your incredible visions and found myself falling through His eyes, such a beautiful place indeed! (smiles) May we hold His loving advice well. You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

It is I who thanks you, for having the courage to comment on my work--something, as you can obviously see, that doesn't happen very often.  I appreciate your kind words, especially about my heart, but I assure you it's filled with tar.  Perhaps (and I know you haven't a clue of what I speak of) I'll take the hint, and vanish from PIP.

Vanish not thy smith of words, for without them I would be in want of intelligent thought from a dear friend and fellow poet. No person should have sway to stay your art for our eyes. ~Shalom
