shhhh don’t say anything, no one can know and so you obey you are a babe in the woods but you learn to fight you learn to crawl your way up from physical abuse and you grow.. you win? You think? shhhh don’t say anything no one can know about you! once again, you obey..... not one hand laid upon you and you learn to trust and you learn to love and you run in joy because you believe it's only for you? Oh! You are a babe! and now, you live…with emotional abuse and which is worse? You begin to believe you are someone to be hidden in a corner; away from the world, unworthy, unrecognized and forgotten. Stop lying to yourself! You deserve center stage. Which is worse? Well written and an interesting question. Personally, I agree that physical scars fade sooner than do verbal, emotional ones. Be well. |
