A Lover’s Fingertips
By: Noah Eaton
4/23/01

A lover’s fingertips softly caress my face
Together making the harmonic melody of romance
Passion waltzing against the body in every trace
The fingers singing in a soft wavy dance

Writing lyrics in every gentle stroke
Every touch reciting poetry, whispering in my lover’s ears
Her body glowing bright against the candlelight, loving her so
Her fingers setting fire to my heart, holding her dear

She reads all my soft fingers like an open book I can’t read
Watching her close her eyes and see her hair flutter
Caressing her neck, slowly dragging my fingers up to her cheek
Laughing with joy as she bends down to kiss me, deeply in love with her

I hold her around her waist, massaging her soft warm backside
Feeling her smoothness alone, my mind filled with muses of her sweetness
Lips embraced in passion, daydreaming of the heavens and the moon as I softly sigh
I see soft fire in her eyes, feeling the warmth of her desires, making love to my princess

Touching her long velvet hair, I strum the lyre of passion
Conducting the most beautiful music ever heard to me
Her soft hand lying on my chest, caressing in pirouette motion
Our bodies embraced together, her smile playing glockenspiel and her heart beating in timpani

My lover’s fingertips play sweet music to my heart
Wishing I could never let her go, listening to our loves symphony
Every touch, every slide lighting my eyes, as I look into hers, gazing at the stars
With our fingers may we create a serenade of eternal love, for you and me…

Although normally I loath love poetry... I found this piece wonderfully written (in consistancy with all your poems.) Excellent piece.
