Kal dooranay safar ek ajnabi say hoi mulakat mari
(I met to a stranger yesterday during a journey)
Pul bhar mein ajnabeeat say shanasai ho gae
(In an instant there was acquaintance from strangeness)

Unn ki juki juki aankhain kuch khah rahi theen hum say
(Her bended eyes were saying something to me)
Pul bhar mein beywafae say bawafai ho gae
(In an instant there was faithfulness from faithlessness)

Chand boal unn k muon say  sounnay ka intizaar tha hamain
(I was waiting for listening some words from her mouth)
Pul bhar main uss humsafar say dilrubai ho gae
(In an instant there was allurement with that stranger)

Kuch arsa pass rehnay k howay wo dooer hum say
(She left while staying some time near to me)
Pul bhar main shanasae say juddai ho gae
(In an instant there was separation from acquaintance)
