* I went to class but I wrote poems instead of notes and my mind is easily affected by outside influences. Look within these two poems and see for yourself, Trixie. There’s motion on the ocean The waves crash out and slam Tsunami sprays the blood about Bobbing heads of the damned The seismograph is broken The magnitude was lost But all the bobbing heads still chant Her beauty cannot be crossed The shaking destabilizes And the mud vibrates terrain Damaged hearts shift and crack Collapsing with refrain Vertical displacement Amongst the aftershock Souls reach up into the sky And slam back to the rock Devastation is her path She wants to hear them scream Tumble about without worry I learned this from a dream Technical Writing My resume of life Is still unfinished yet I have my font all picked out It’s one goal that I have met My heading is quite striking My references inferred Contact me if I’m great to you The telephone’s unheard Years pass in rejection I sit there oft perplexed Then one day upon review I see typos in the text Cover letters are read Judged without a doubt Customize your own design You don’t wish to be thrown out My qualification suits me For a job within the void But my education boots me Into the land of the unemployed * I skipped my last two classes and played ping pong at the student union, lucky you (Trixie) [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 04-23-2001).] |

although i like these a lot, how much are you willing to pay for the notes i took while you were, so passionately, writing? it amazes me to watch you write and think so intensely. you do a pretty needo job here! |
