Saving Grace

tonight God -- let me die
and to an angel's wings I fly
when do the weary rest
when do we pass this test
will my heart ever learn
maybe with MY sins, I'll burn
maybe there is NO saving grace
not in ......................this place
can You grant me these things
let me rest in angel's wings

******with a SPECIAL thanks to Marge & Nan for your help with putting the graphic on*****   helen

Beautiful graphic to illustrate, Helen! And yes, I'm kinda tired too right now. Nice job on this.

Your peace can be found
If you put on wings of sound
Let the friends you hold dear
Lend your heart an open ear

I envy you poets with your graphics.  I am so new with this computer, I am lucky to even find my way to this site.  But this was lovely.  Joyce

Helen~
Your thoughts are intriguing -
if a little sad ~
The graphic is stunning -
and adds to the drama of the piece ~

It is a completely dynamic presentation ~

Glad to assist.
