Contemplation necessitates the writing of the word… Through the mind, and out the pen, small chance of being heard... Share the finished product that I’ve taken, from my soul... Rejection from those near just leaves me feeling lost and cold... Writing is to me a very old, familiar friend... I wrote in the beginning... Let me write up to the end... I’ve tried to stop the process just to please, and keep the peace... But there are times I wish the harsh critiques would simply cease! I strive to keep things running smoothly, do more than my part... While deep inside my muse is playing games, within my heart... I need to let my feelings out, I know that I must write... The only time allowed me are the hours, before daylight... And now...to the dilemma... Will it always be this way? Should I give up the thing I love, to keep harsh words at bay? I stand alone and wonder... My dilemma shrinks from view... A writer writes...that’s what she does... And shall until she’s through... Live...Love...Be grateful for both!! |

LOL @ Sunshine...I swear I just finished a bagel. I'm sure many here will relate to this scenario. I know I can set my clock by the multiple times I hear, 'When are you coming to bed' each night. I don't know the right decision but I'm glad you made the one you did and I love how you wrote it. Speak when you are angry--and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret...Laurence J. Peter |

Sunshine... I love bagels, with cream cheese, apple butter and raisins!!!! Yummy......it looks like the folks at WA have 'good taste' in more than just writing!!! Thank you too!! Bill... Yes...I do know down deep that you are right, and I can't go against my inner voices. Thank you.....I appreciate it!! Denise... I know there has to be a way to balance everything out, and things like this usually take care of themselves, I think!! Thank you and so good to hear from you again!! JLR... I guess it was the only one I could make. Most of my life my decisions have been in everyone else's favor. This one had to be mine!! Thank you!! Marge... Sunny Make yourself happy and if writing does the trick, let it be. Many times people sacrifice what they want most for peace and harmony only to get kicked in the teeth in the end. Stick to your guns and write when you can. |

Hi Taffeta... Yes......I do so agree with you!! One can't always live to please everyone...sometimes it has to be that you stand your ground and please yourself. Thank you so much!! Hi Greeneyes... Oh...I have decided that it is 'right' for me to 'write'...after all, it is something that I have done since birth, I think. Yes...some of the best writers I have had the pleasure to make wonderful friendships with are here, at Passions...and your name is up there at the top!!!! Thank you!!!!
