Got Your Message

Got your message
something happened
head to toe
full body, soul

can’t explain it
don’t need to know
can’t go back now
against the flow

everything’s elevated
to a different plane
yet in my experience
it has no name

haven’t a clue
how this came from you
but a bit of me
is now all new

There are times that something does change us completely.  At least, that's what I felt from this.  I loved it.  Very well written.

Have been exactly, word for word...in this place.  Very well translated from feeling to words.

A great feeling, isn't it?  Yes, wonderfully expressed!

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk in the room...

I felt inspiritation from this. As poets, inspiritation is a welcomed gift. Thank You for the gift.

Some events can leave us so that we do not remain the same, it sounds like this time, for you, it was a good leaving.  Great description of how it's effected you.

Thank you all for reading and responding.  I'm fascinated by what a poem becomes to a reader and it is your responses that make this place so interesting!  I appreciate them all.
"The message" was totally unexpected, marvelously serendipitous and utterly rare!  It was a once in a lifetime experience, I think, and I realized that the instant it occurred.
Only one of you could possibly know what the message really was and yet so many found a connection to the experience.  I wonder how many messages can do that.
But alas, the message seems to have become as ephemeral as it was marvelous.
