Against the Storm

Dream
a beach
with me tonight --
turn down both sides
of the bed, and fluff
my pillow.
Hold my sight like a candle
against the storm...
your delicate hand cupping the flame.
See by my light, the moonbeams glitter
of lace cut waves at scurried play along the shore.
Breathe -- with my lungs the salt sifted air,
and feel my heart race in the swell of cresting tides.
Dream with me an ocean of love, walk in hips sweet tickle,
the gold string ever binding...a kiss of spirits twine.

this is ever reaching to the heart....beautiful from start to finish.

May your dreams always dance to the rhythm of a lover's heartbeat...

You built this one up beautifully, the storm was hardly perceptible...at first...

Janet Marie took the words right out of my mouth if I could have thought them so well.  Coal, you have a fan!!!A fan that has a lump in her throat and tears in her eyes, overwhelmed with the beauty of your work.  Forgive me if this is embarrassing, I think I'm a groupie!

Coal~
This is lovely~

'See by my light, the moonbeams glitter
of lace cut waves at scurried play along the shore.'

I've played on that beach ...
beautiful remembrances tugging here.
