There are so many things around In life for us to fear.. Like hurricanes and rabid dogs And zits and lukewarm beer... The ozone layer disappearing Totally from view But you need never fear that I Will lose my love for you. Nine point earthquakes you can fear And spiders, I suppose... A comet devastating Earth Or runners in your hose. A small hole in a prophylactic Causes panic, too But you need never fear that I Will lose my love for you. There aren't too many constants In this crazy universe. We live in fear of everything From floods to war and worse But rest assured there is one thing You can count on as true And never fear that your sweet man Will lose his love for you. So worry about icebergs that shrink Or that Mad Cows Disease Or presidents that do their best With interns on their knees Beubonic plague may come again. Who knows? It could be true!!! But never for a minute fear I'll lose my love for you.....  |
