I relax into the easy banter
that we so rarely share
Completely me
Completely you
Voices rising and falling lightly
playfully skipping and spinning
with no effort or
distance
between our thoughts and hearts

And it matters not
in this moment
that we're falling apart
More that in this instant
So rare
It's easy to see
why we once loved

Well put.  Well written.  Not easy thoughts to pen.

Time is nothing but a stream of "instants". And it swirls. You can step into it at any point....and start again. Bob

Thank you so much, Interloper!  Yes, was a little difficult to write, but helpful, I think.

RMW - I shall ponder this.....*smiling*  I thank you for the comment.

PoeticKnight - Thank you...it was a sad write.

Well written, what a beautiful poem.  This is lovely and tells of the wonders of life, or maybe that life once had but you will never forget.  Interesting, intriguing and inspiring!

I've really enjoyed reading this. It's so hard to remember the good things that once was when a relationship falls apart.

excellent work!

Ps,
I think you should change "Just A Woman" to "THE WOMAN" *Chuckles*

Boy, do I know moments like this...but I never could've captured them with such excellence!  Have I mentioned lately that I love the way you write?
