Untitled

When we appear, do people guess?
Do little girls with blossom cheeks
Tug their mothers to distraction
As if to wonder
Why they stare?
Do waitresses begin to ask
"One glass, or two?"
As though instinctively they sense
Our lips' desire
To share
Romance along a crystal edge.
Do old men stop their game of chess
To glance in our direction,
Enchanted
By a memory?
Do poets pause for inspiration?

"Romance along a crystal edge" - I love that.
And I think that they do.......I often do, different couples that you can tell instantly are so much in love.
Nice one, Bob!
