Whispers With Anne
~*Marge Tindal*~

I cowered in whispers within the confines of the darkness.
Clung to the others crowded in fear.
Let my heart whisper the prayers, I couldn't say out loud.
Offered others my tears to quench their thirst.

Aspiring to be a writer - in the someday that never came.
Looked fear and death squarely in the eye ... and prayed again.

My God finally heard our prayers.
He took us home to be with Him ...
Before the gases from the chambers of death snatched us from life,
we whispered our tears so that generations to come wouldn't have to.

Oh, God ... have mercy.
Their tears are my tears.
Help me to shout ... so they won't ever be forgotten.

Stirred again by the reading of 'The Diary Of Anne Frank'
*A loving remembrance to the victims of the Holocaust*

Margie, yes, I always knew that you could write about any topic and stir our emotions. A bittersweet write from you, your heart is so full of caring and understanding for the victims of the holocaust. Thank you for sharing this, and thank you for just being you

Take care,

This is so heart-wrenching Marge.  I have read the Diary of Anne Frank several times. I understand they are making a new movie presently, about her life.

Ah Marge, had to come back for another read....

I remember long ago....very long ago, when her diary first came to my attention....

how brave I thought this young girl was....

and indeed....brave, and wise.

Thanks again!

Dear Marge,  How dear of you to bring her back to our attention.  We cannot let this happen again, and remembering will be the way to stop it.  Love, Joyce

Thank you for reading and remembering.
I'm not sure I could watch this child's life portrayed ...
so sadly tragic were those events in history.

Karilea~
To have lived such a short life -
she certainly left us a legacy to remember.
Thank you, friend.

Joyce~
Her life sure is worth remembering~
I hope we never allow such tragedies to take place again.

Marge,

I honestly have to say that this is some of your best writing.  I've read her story many times and you've captured her well.  Excellent, my friend.

Thank you so very, very much.
When these stories climb into my heart
they usually end up in my inkwell.
