the taste white-washed barnes
burnished gold lingers on tongue
freshly ground ginger

cattle sheared cleanly
washed gapping holes empty scars
winter whispers not

fine wines claret plum
diminutive memories
life's expended ash

shoved through snow croci
burlap fibers woven jute
saffron dried stigmas

"I am not now that which I have been."

Janet Marie: thank you, I could not ignore Dr. Barnes work with French wildflowers in spring, the sprinkling of ginger.

Marvelous !

'fine wines claret plum
diminutive memories

Mysteria and Marge: what can one say regarding Dr Barnes' research to the valley of croci and my desire of saffron rice? Thank you for the claret plum.
