Embracing Utopia
By: Noah Eaton
4/18/01

Among the tulips she stands
Kissing the crisp sweet misty skies
Her face glistening with warm light
Smiling among springs enchanted surprise

She dances with the tulips with me
Wrapping me in her sunshine
Yellow shadows of youth shimmer across my face
Sharing her fantasies with me, as I do mine

I cradle her against my enlightened heart
Her eyes are a million sonnets, flooding from her tears
When her lips speak, poetry of life kisses my soul
As her tears fall from her soft creamy face, screaming in joy when I am near

Lotus flames burn brightly against the blue bonnet velvet sky
As her lips meet mine, feeling heavens touch with my girl
Bluebirds fill the cottonwood trees, singing Sweetheart’s symphony
Smiling touching her angel face, reflecting the golden majesties of heavens world

I strum her silky marigold hair
Every stroke pure beautiful music to my ears
I hug her close with eyes closed, crying in joy with promise
That I’ll always be faithful to her, and accept whatever happens,
when I’m by her side for all these coming years

A such happiness fills me, holding a dream
Completely sure I am embracing utopia, as I hear her sigh, touching me
Her sigh echoes in mine, smiling as I say to myself
That God must have spent more time on her, my true love of my dreams

The very last line reminds me of a current song...

how well you captured it all!
