Poppie Là Phew ~*Marge Tindal*~ She's an impish little muse who wants to show her stuff. Trying to get my attention to write her silly pink fluff. Trying to ignore her just won't do at all. Splashing in the inkwell of my thoughts, she's having quite a ball ! "Okay !", I say, "Come do your thing." She flicks one tiny drop of ink. Pouting with hands on hip, dares me to write without her, as if I give a flip ! I start. I stop. She laughs with glee, "You thought that you could write, but all your thoughts are me !" I figured I'd outwit her, catch her in my thinker-inker. With her thoughts she gaily splashed me, "Poppie, you little stinker !" ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
