~*~ Apple Blossoms ~*~

Pale pink blossoms fall
Softly from the fragile limbs
One week, and they're gone

Ours are almost gone,
but they are so beautiful while they last.
Ah, such are the gifts of Nature!

~*Joyce - thank you - pretty outside right now.

~*Marge - Let's hope there is a bountiful harvest, there sure wasn't last year.

I'll be with you in apple blossom time, ...and I've forgotten the rest of the song. Apples, cherries and plum bloom with such promise, yet blow in the wind like cascading snow fall.

"I am not now that which I have been."

Makes me think of my mock orange shrub.  It will be filled to the brim with blossoms, then a wind will come, a traditional spring wind and blow them all off. So we just have to enjoy them FAST!
