Doubting myself in a world of doubt.
Loving two people I can not live without.

One I could never have, you see.
Remains a part of my loving memory.

And while in the arms of one.
Thinking of another and feeling alone.

Commitment to the physical.
Dreaming of the emotional.

Wondering why two in one can not be.
Your captivating thoughts captured in memory.

And though emotional loves' door remains closed.
My heart to you is open and transposed.

I think we all have had those thoughts at one time or another.

Write on!

Live for love. Without love, you don't live.

There's so much of me in here that it startled me---I guess this is more common than I thought--but it sure FEELS uncommon.
Thank you.

Serenity-So glad you stopped by to read, glad you understand, it makes me feel less alone.  Thank you.

AgustP-Appreciate that you liked.

Poetic Knight-Thanks for understanding and feeling.  After reading your last poem, me thinks we're kind of on the same wave length.
