If I could take your anguish and apprehension away I would spread them beyond the waves that drift inland, from every approaching storm. What makes sense when life is slipping from between my fingers? Sanity is held at bay; oh ‘tis mine I fear. Between the silent verse and the approaching dawn I sense your distress; oh, my darling, I would change places with you were fate should offer the occasion. Please don’t turn away, let me honor you- I suspend my very life to offer my hands for such a time as this. I love you now as I never have. Was my love mere words? I trust not! For love without actions is a corpse whose bones have since been picked and my love lives-it lives now! I won’t allow the threat of storm to destroy what I hold dear. And where are the deeds I lay before you? The comfort of a thousand twinkling stars that cover us at twilight! Look at them with me and wish upon one? I still believe in miracles, my sweetheart. I’m not afraid of being alone, for in the years to come I will know I held you close for such a time- marked with sorrow, yes, but held together with the thread of sincerity and breathed upon with candle drops as rain from vows I spoke so many years ago. They fall upon us now, the fruit of all the spoken syllables I said before the priest. They speak to me now in fine versification? No, for they only form a chorus where angels practise- love. Oh! How they practise- through every verse that fills my stolen sky. I feel lost- in this dreaded valley, where silence is a haunting sound of a violin, and flutes play to far-off sunsets. But look at the stars with me. There, the music is magnified and in that my love is manifested. No other pain is so gut-wrenching than watching you suffer, knowing I can do nothing- but pray. And pray for the stars to multiply and the seeds of my vows to fill the page. Page upon page of love for I would never forgive myself had I not been present for this, our appointed time. I feel lost- from reason, uncertainty and deprivation Who would keep watch with me? Who would listen to the ramblings of a woman in torment? I feel lost- though not alone, for I have a starlit sky and you, my love, for this- our appointed time. I turn ‘round and know, I just know, I am going to be alone. In that, I am no longer lost. For you found me when I most needed you. I love you; please don't leave me here alone. Kay |

Your love comes alive in your words, as does your anguish. God bless you. Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |

Love is real you are not alone. Have faith. Nice Poem revolves on the comfort love has. People need that instinctively with fashion. |

There is so much love in your words even though they are not for me it give me hope for the days ahead that there is a God up there that cares for us |

Well stated. Love much to often seems to also include pain - but love always remainds long after everything else has passed ! Thanks |

This is so full of pain... you make us feel an ache in our throats from the tormented cries and wetness from the tears. Well written! |
