Love's Greatest Tears
~~~
Forever shining bright
within my heart
a crystal light
Reflecting
treasured moments
o'er the years
~
Although
we searched
the stars above
due course
revealed
to you
my love . . .
In trust
your secret
next to mine
it crushed my weirs
~
Childhood love
we shared
unspoken
Shared our laughter
shared devotion
In those three words
we shared a hug
and shared our fears
~
And though the clock
has dust me grey
You're in my heart
this very day
Thirty years
... still ...
cancer brings
Love's Greatest
Tears
~~~

Thanks everyone ... I know some people lately that died of cancer and that got me thinking about a very close friend who died at a young age, of cancer only a few years after breast cancer. And now some 30 years later, I don't think we're any closer to a cure, are we?
