~My Heaven~

I've been painting my stairway to heaven
sky blue, I've creamed it with clouds.
When I travel the steps, each one reached
whispers, my thoughts aloud.

Soon I will be there, my heaven
where my dreams are  fabric made.
Sewn with loving and pieced with hands
gifted and tagged, of my trade.

There are Santa's and bunnies, and bears to fill,
a crusade of snowmen in dress.
There are houses for birds and dolls prettied up,
and piles and piles, to assess.

Created unfinished, they're watching for me
the one who born them to wait.
The time's now right, I am reaching for stars,
as I climb to my heaven's gate.

I will touch them and coddle, add finishing blend,
then kiss them to journey to you
to share in delight of creations handmade,
all packaged from heavens of blue.

"I am back", to myself I am talking again
and feeling the missing of me.
It won't be long, I can tell deep inside,
I'm climbing, I'm reaching 'til "free".

Happiness rests in my heaven of stairs.
I'm counting each step as I rise
to the top of the clouds, I am floating this day
I see promise from hazel viewed eyes.

when my life fell apart...and it's been waiting
for the right time for me to return
Today I have been painting my path to it.

Oh Maureen, even before I reached your summary at the end, I visualized such wonderful creations. This was a lovely journey through you words.  A wonderful path to open again and follow, very inspirational and full of promise!

Best wishes,

With this much attitude, how could you not succeed?
Thanks for sharing your big smile,  and I can see it all the way from here!
Enjoy your Heaven (but don't stop this writing thing).

I would love to see some of those things you describe in here....they sound wonderful! I'm sure that those stars you are reaching for will give up and fall straight into your hands. The way you describe your crafts, it sounds like this is what you were born to do. I am glad your life has come back together enough for you to pick up and carry on, and I wish you the best of luck for everything. Big smiles and hugs to you

I wish to thank you all for responding to me the other day. Those ups and downs keep me going from low to high and back again..but I have begun, and that is what makes the difference. ANd Marge I read your email first and was wondering  what you meant by sending your address.*s  I was thinking first of having a yard sale to  rid of everything at half  price..or even going on ebay..not too sure or maybe just placing them on a website of mine that would allow me to send a catalogue and pictures..will have to see which way the wind  blows and if and when I get a  fulltime job...thank you again for your never wavering support.
