Never Hesitate to Communicate

She told me in no uncertain terms she would
be my part-time girlfriend and that was
a take it or leave it or nothing.
Hey at least we're communicating and developing
a nothing relationship into something.
Basically I am willing to give a lot.
Although I won't tell you exactly what.
Certainly life doesn't give in to all our expectations.
Deperately we do the best we can with what we have
and hope for satisfaction.
Essentially the truth is it never hurts to know
how to negotiate.
It's better to have something on our plates
then nothing.
Happily at least we're talking.
Foolishly I hold on to my hope to attain my goal
although sometimes I'm not so sure if what I want
I even know.

You my sweet man deserve so much better than this...you deserve a woman willing to give her all...not some part time lover...and if you just hold on to your own worth she will too...HUGS baby

You've captured such a difficult emotion in this piece James, and very well ... nicely written. There is a great deal of understanding and truth in these words, and I very much enjoyed the read!

James, I agree that communication is key, but you don't have to accept her terms if you're uneasy about them. I must agree with the others ~ you deserve better. Hang in there, and keep your eyes open ~ you never know when you'll find the right "her." (o:
