The Color of Butterflies

It’s often that I sit and dream
Creating worlds of fertile seem.
Lit by butterflies passing flight
Making fantasy come to light.

And in this mirror of my wile
Reflects the thinking of my guile.
The magic in each moments flare
That turned them into daring dare.

They are the embers of my fire
The burning bush of light retires.
The bright that lays my windowsill
And brings to me my wanton will

Their the colors of my palette
Brilliant hews of shining scarlet.
Feeding butterflies come my way
Through out the night and in the day

They are the tinctures of my goal
They are the pictures of my soul.

Seymour, I enjoyed gazing into the mirror of your wile for awhile (as I always do). This is lovely, delicate writing, you know. Thanks for it.

Seymour~

The colors of the butterfly
rarely escape artistic eye ~
For with the flair of painter's pen
you fling them to the canvas, then ~
All their glorious colors display
with palette hues in soft array ~
Across the page in metered flit
upon a flower, they come to sit ~
Bringing me a joyous thought
of the penning you have wrought ~

*Thank you for this inspirational bonnet adorned
with lovely verse - butterfly worn !
Love n' hugs~

I have heard the cries of butterflies
Brushed butterfly tears from luna eyes
Heard butterfly sighs gifted in sweet reprise
Seen butterflies soar in morns glowing sunrise
Witnessed my own reflection in emerald eyes of wise
Cried in the losses of butterfly goodbyes
Known the rise of butterfly inspire on high
Found quiet comfort in the promise of binding butterfly ties
Learned unconditional butterfly love never dies
Discovered fate's prize as butterfly wings took to the skies

thank you for the inspiration,
thank you for always understanding my reasons,

From one who views
in crimson hues
in green and gold and blue

let me say
let me have this day
to speak "I like this too,"

and let me then

thank you.
