Hello, I just recently started writting down my poetic thoughts... and I decided I would try and get some input from others. However, before you read my poem, please know that poetry is only understood by the one writting it, as it comes from the heart. Others can interpret it, but it only strikes true meaning into the one whom created it. Also, please know that this poem isn't in a "ryhme-sceme" style, it is merely a few sentances.

The Deceitful Eye

It is the eye,
That makes men think.
It is a liar,
Never anwsering the question.

But it is the man that curses the eye,
And sees with the mind,
That understands and stops asking.

i hear ya what ya said.. but give some o these cats credit... sometimes they interpret my stuff on levels i never thought of... and it scares me!

absolutely provoking work here... yes, i think provoking is the right word.... a well penned ideal you've got here.

welcome aboard, this is a great place to post. I thought your forward was unneccessary the poem obviously comes from the heart.
