You fill my eyes with your sight
I am lost within time
My soul with yours enters flight
To pass the darkness within the night
Forever among the stars

Staring into the night we talk
Worlds pass unnoticed and forgotten
By moonlight paths we walk
Among the forrest roads we stop
To stand within a moment

The candle-light reflects your thought
As you stare intently
All your dreams come but naught
For everything you've always fought
Sliping past your reach

Betrayal stings your heart sore
As the mind wills to chance
Your form protests ever more
Years of practice whatever for
To dance in life forever

And yet you stand staring
Defiently into fate
Hoping and yet still daring
To Judge how well your faring
Leaping after your dreams

Mysterious is the shadow, walking down the path of light.  ~~ ¥ ~~

Gosh, how jealous am I!? This is beautifully penned, with amazing rhyme and rhythm. So unfair! I really did love this one
