Friendship
Such a precious
Gift for my heart and soul
Smiles grace my lips at the thought
Of your kind, loving words that touch my heart
I could never take for granted
All that you mean to me
I cherish our
Friendship

it's hard to find a friend these days, someone who just is there for you and is supportive and always there, day in , day out....enjoyed this one SEA

Beautifully said, SEA.  Friendship is a gift from God that should be cherished forever.

SEA, very very nice. This form seems to fit so well with these types of emotions.

Well I'm glad I popped my head in this evening and happened upon this, your wonderfully honest friendship poem. In this increasingly competitive world, 'no-strings' friendships are hard to come across, and if they are no-strings then I guess they are never really true friendships. Friends may change...but the meaning of the word 'friendship' remains eternally unchangable - and you captured it perfectly here. Great stuff
