Blow

She only likes me when she's high.
That's when she looks me in the eye
and tells me I'm her best friend
then I'll never see her again
until she's stoned out of her mind
then she'll give me a little of her time
and make me believe all over again
that she and I are best of friends.
And still I feel I need so much more.
For while the smoke blows I'm the man
that she adores
and as the smoke goes she slips
right out the door.

I used to have a houseful of 'friends' like that. It's hard sometimes to do what we should when it isn't what we want. Please don't let yourself get used up.

My ex-husband was the same exact way....when he was drunk or stoned I was the most beautiful girl in the world....and he was gentle to me....but sober....I was a punching bag and not pretty to him at all.....very sad....and painful...walk away James...you are so much more than you know.....you deserve better....hugs..SEA
