Luna, thy beauty is fair
Indeed fairer by far
Than for just what thee are
Surely not how bright or rare
Nor thy constant repair

More so than any mortal device
Is the reason I hold thee dear
For thy beauty indisputably clear
Those virtues can be counted thrice
No, something else must suffice

It is not outward appearance descried
Which strengthens thy beauty
To confess this, I feel is my duty
To me thy fairness is found inside
Fair, for how thee make me feel tonight

This is beautiful and magnetic!

I loved the last few lines...

"It is not outward appearance descried
which strengthens thy beauty
to confess this, I feel is my duty
to me thy fairness is found inside"

Take care,
Melissa~

Oh, the pull, the pull
of Luna, consigned
I am
to think in rhyme
when the tug is there
all white,
and solemn, solemn,
is my night...

A keeper!

Hey PK! Sounds like you've fallen under her spell!   I too noticed the moon this weekend...was gorgeous out at the lake, watching her play hide and seek in the clouds...a beauty of a tribute! applause!
