I have stood here tall and straight
For years now I have accepted this faith,
Many of you pass me by,
Without any curiousness in your eyes,

Mighty I am for I have withstood Mother Nature,
I keep rising without obstruction,
I am a home to many little creature,
Every fall I complete the cycle of Resurrection,

Wait, Just hold on,
Why do I stand here alone?
I sight no other like me around,
All of them seem to have gone,

I peer below to see where I am,
In a graveyard where they bury my kind,
I am surrounded by two wooden fences,
This is the faith of those who once stood here,

Unknowingly I lived a life  full of pride,
Not sensing the dead,
Surrounding by my side.
