the full moon shines
and, in its glow,
I see your face

looking. . .
with love

and I wonder
if, being there,
you see my face

looking back. . .
with love

The moon reflects both the truths and mysteries of love, doesn't it? Enchanting thoughts, Sven.

Such a sweet, romantic notion.  Enjoyed.

Ah...another moon beam! Thank you...was a glorious weekend for reflection!

and with a giggle...your title reminded me of an old song!

"Looking back
on the track
for a little green bag!
Got to find
just that kind
or I'm losing my mind!
Outta sight
in the night
outta sight
in the day,
looking back
on the track
for a little little green bag!"

Name that tune AND the artist!

Sweet Sven. I would say this is a simply tender poem, and that I would hope that she is looking back.

Oh I wonder this, too. Do they think of us with the same memories?  Perfect "moon" poem.
